In the coming year of 2011 God will be actively seeking nation to give names to as well. According to the writer of Matthews gospel those people are called dancers and mourners.

And saying, we have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. ( Mt 11: 17 )

God is not looking for contestants for Dancing with the Stars or a class of sad and weeping folk who might be ready to become perpetual attendants in funeral processions. Rather, they are individuals who will get onboard what he is doing today with a full splendor of the Christian life and others who will recognize the times we are in and weep, wail, bewail and pray until there is a boost to God in which he will stir up the sensibilities of an entire nation in a call to repentance. How has that been going?

Christ vocal of those in his day that they would not dance nor deplore; need anyone interrogate how well it is going now that twenty centuries have passed?

Would we accept the doctrine and the agenda of a minority class of people who want the gay life sprung from obscurity to the forefront of the nation from classroom to the military and then think it is expedient to spend 4 billion dollars to change what school children eat in the cafeteria; co - sponsor, Michelle Obama.

This week the outgoing largely Democratic Congress and Senate voted to lift Dont ask dont tell ( DADT ) that has been in place for seventeen years. Not only will this have dire effects on recruitment but it is sure to create nasty scenarios and incidents yet unseen. Even worse the moral might of our military will now decline along with the rest of the nation. We will see some humiliating defeats and events from here and forward. With only sixty days for top military brass to thwart the work of the lame duck Dems we should do far more than appendage our Christian websites with a little reminder to pray for the President.

President Obama was smiling from ear to ear as he signed the repeal of dont ask dont tell and then rose to proclaim what a great day it was for America. If you are only nominally familiar with the Bible you know that the President has signed a bill that brings us exponentially closer to the impending wrath of God. We will not see a full decade pass before the fruit of this perversion comes forth.

Liberal, perverse and Godless ideas have been smothering the American psyche now in a chronic and pervasive way for the last two years yet we cant see our way to clear to heed the warnings that one world leader is about to put his ideas on a distracted world racing headlong into spiritual and psychological reprobation. Herein is proof that wisdom and knowledge are not always connected. Weve got Google, Wikipedia, network and cable news and endless universities which prove that any fool can get knowledge but wisdom is still reserved to the wise.

As for the future of America in 2011 I am forced to reiterate one of my most redundant, howbeit, important messages for this nation. It is about refocusing, returning and repenting. It is the three Rs of our collective spiritual and national life. It cannot be accomplished by constantly centering in on the economy while we are slithering deeper into a dark moral morass where anything goes as long as you dont step on any toes. When America puts the Bible on the backburner, most of the constitution in the fire and Israel on the list of former friends we are indeed in a decline that puts us on a par with every other nation that has ever fallen from within throughout the course of history.

We are as Abner who fought as a mighty warrior but was lured aside by his enemies only to be knifed and killed under the guise of being brought into their confidence. Ancient King David, who loved Abner as a brother lamented that he had died as a fool.

And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth? Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou. And all the people wept again over him. ( 2Samuel 3: 33 - 34 )

Odd that David would remark that Abner was not bound, he was free just like us but he died as a fool. He was lured by others who took him into their ideas, into their confidence and finally into their trap.

In the case of Hollywood, TV and the rest of the media we have the constant assurance fed to us that You cant fool the cool. When every prurient interest of the lower nature of man is being courted and entertained against the moral guide of the scripture and every traditional sense of morality, we have been arched once again. Too much material to cover here just suffice it to say that, contrary to all that pop culture lures us to spend our time on, the search for the cool is a sure path to becoming a fool.

This will be the last year to catch our breath and reconsider our path. In 2012 things will be changing too fast for anyone to do very much about it. The party will last until the last minute but the world will continue to change beyond all expectation. 2011 will be the year of the catastrophe, the earthquake and the rising of many enemies some we have never known as enemies before. Some extreme weather will blast our cities and one will be left nearly in ruins.

The dollar will decline worldwide and a slow economy and joblessness will continue until it becomes critical. Is all of this connected to our decline in morals? You can bet your life on it and apart from a full repentance the course cannot be altered.

Between the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 a new kind of leader will emerge but not in America. He and those who support him can only be described as diverse. He and the kingdom he creates will be unlike anything before in world history. The world will not see him as all that different because the great push for diversity is already years ahead of his appearing and he will just fit into the global frame of things like the last missing piece of the puzzle.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. ( Daniel 7: 24 )

So will the whole world heed these warnings and turn? Dont worry the world is not beating a path to the doors of my house or any other seer to get the latest word from the Lord. But there will most assuredly come a day in which people will long to hear these messages but they will not be as available as they are now. In fact that is what almost completes the prophecy and explains why true preachers of the word will not be so readily available any longer. To wit:

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ( Daniel 7: 25 )

What completes the prophecy is the only hope on the horizon. It is what culminates the great decline of mankind and brings in the rule of Jesus Christ for one thousand years before eternity in a new heaven and a new earth begins.

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. ( Daniel 7: 26 - 27 )

For those who have waited patiently for his appearing the day is closing fast and hope will not always be deferred.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. ( Romans 13: 11 - 12 )

Dont hide behind the worn out common wisdom of the day that says the Bible is full of contradictions and errors. Dont think you can put off everything God has revealed with the new morality of today. It is not contextual perfection that the pages of scripture represent but rather it is an answer to life. It is the source and author of life speaking to your life. No one said it better than the Apostle Peter who when asked if he would turn back from following Christ, replied with

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. ( John 6: 68 )

SAT Subject Tests Did You Miss Your Best Exam Date

Everyone talks about the SAT, but do you know if you need SAT Subject Tests? Too much the SAT seems to get all the attention while the subject specific exams are overlooked until it is too slow to adequately prepare.

What are SAT Subject Tests?

They are hour long exams that limelight on specific academic areas. Parents, you may relive these tests below their former autonym, the Achievement Tests.

Students can chose from 20 contradistinct exams:

Additionally, not all subjects are given on all days. Language tests are the most and are often offered only in November, December, or June.

Who needs SAT Subject Tests?

Colleges can require or " strongly suggest " these scores for use in admission or course placement, so you will need to ascertain the admissions requirements for every school you are considering.

Typically, Ivy League and other highly selective schools require scores of all applicants, so if you are looking at schools like Rice, Duke, MIT, Boston College, Amherst, etc., you will need to take at least two subjects.

Some colleges require homeschool applicants to submit scores to demonstrate strength in academic areas. Some schools such as Notre Dame and Vanderbilt " strongly recommend " them. Pomona College in California requires homeschool students submit scores from four exams.

Not all students will need this specialized exam. The problem is that is that most students won ' t know if they need Subject Tests until fall of their senior year when application are due. Unfortunately, this if often too late to adequately prepare.

How can one prepare?

Students should take subject exams when the material is fresh in their minds. For topics like Literature and Math, there is no best test date because these are subjects students study each year. Science and history courses contain material that is unlikely to be repeated each year, so students should take the corresponding exam when they finish the course in school. You won ' t know more US History, Biology, or Chemistry by waiting.

Students who prepare for an AP or IB tests in the spring, will have adequate preparation to take the corresponding subjects in May or June. Students should review sample test questions available on the College Board website or in the SAT subjects review book.

What type of schools require these exams?

Subject Tests give students another opportunity to show colleges strength in academics. As early as freshman or sophomore year, strong academic students may take subject tests in history or science. Juniors should set aside one test date to take two or three exams of their choice. If you plan ahead, you will not find yourself scrambling senior year, unable to meet early deadlines because you haven ' t satisfied the SAT Subject Test requirements.

Hinduism originated from the efforts of a well - formed organizational institution headed by Seven Sages, called Saptarshis, who aimed at arresting the excessive polytheism resulting from these migrations. Just as we have Pope for Christianity today, Hinduism, from the beginning, had this institution of seven sages who were mentioned in the Hindu scriptures as the patriarchs of the religion. They used certain scriptures called Vedas to arrest polytheism, and took excessive pains to integrate all these different deities under one hood of a universal religion. They very strictly guarded the Vedic body of knowledge, and the copy of the Vedas available with them was considered to be the final copy.

Any changes to the Vedas were needed to be approved by this elite group of sages. If the reasons were justified, they approved the changes and incorporated them into the Vedas. Otherwise, they rejected it and kept the Vedas intact without any contamination. From what appears, they were extremely strict about changes to the Vedas. Even to this day of Hinduism, a word in Veda is normally considered as the final authority to the literal T. And this faith in Vedas was built upon a tradition where the Vedas were very strictly and jealously guarded from any changes whatsoever, unless the change really justified it. Some super human justification was required to have them changed. Any changes, to the extent possible, were always added as appendages rather than their being incorporated into the Vedas. So we have Brahmanas, Aranyakas, and Upanishads as appendages to the Vedas. As more and more philosophy developed, all of them got incorporated into this body as appendages.

It is this institution of seven sages who founded Hinduism, by expending a large amount of effort over thousands of years in unifying a large number of traditions from across civilizations into one single religion of Hinduism that we see today. The Hindu trinity, the Hindu divine hierarchy, the Hindu festivals, and everything else that we see today were formulated by them. It is they who inserted Purusha Sukta, Narayana Sukta, and Sri Sukta into the Vedas these hymns, which are so important to the religion today, were once not part of Vedas. These hymns were the means by which the integration was done.

The names of the Saptarshis carried over from one generation to the next. For example, if Kasyap dies, his son would take on the name of Kasyap and get inducted into the Saptarshis. Once in a while, for some reason, like one of the seven rishis dying without having any children, the names of the one or more of the rishis changed, giving us a different set of Saptarshis.

The religion got so excessively dependent on these sages that they started being considered as the representatives of the creator on earth. This slowly led to their deification and they started being mythicized. They were declared as the mind born sons of God. Subsequently, they were equated with the most evolved light beings in the creation and the guardians of divine laws. Further deification of their attributes led to the addition of more and more myths and halo around them. This sort of excessive mythicization finally led to the relegation of this institution from the purview of the real world into the realm of mythology, to the extent that they started being regarded as mythical personalities.

This institution got destroyed at the time of the three hundred year severe drought of 2200 BC. At that time, most of the Indians, devastated by the drought, left India for foreign shores, especially to European lands. Because of the severe suffering that people underwent because of the drought, people lost faith in a useless God who did not answer their prayers, leading to the rise of atheistic cults on the subcontinent. The institution of seven sages got destroyed in this religious upheaval and societal turbulence, as a result of which, the origins of Hinduism have once and for all become lost in the dungeons of time, becoming the source of intense mystery to this day.

If you were a Soviet citizen, you weren ' t allowed to simply relocate to a " free " country like the U. S. - or any other. It might be easy to think the Berlin Wall ( and other Soviet border walls ) were intended to keep enemies out... on the contrary, the Soviets needed strong borders to keep their own people IN. To attempt to relocate was known as " defecting " - as though to want to leave Mother Russia was the sign of a personal defect - and when you defected, you had to " seek asylum " in a free country, most notably the United States. These might be terms you never hear these days; but to those of us who experienced the full effect of the Cold War, they ' re all - too - familiar.

Why? Because life was much easier, and more prosperous, and more safe, here in " The West. " The Soviets sent Olympic teams to other countries when they had to, but they weren ' t wild about letting their best athletes get a taste of life in the free world. Not surprisingly, many Soviet Olympians defected.

A world economic system was established after World War II, and America ' s free - market capitalism has driven the great growth of prosperity in that system since then. But the Soviets - and, later, the " Red " Chinese - weren ' t part of it. They stayed out. They built walls, used their own un - traded currencies, and tried to make the collectivist experiment work. Since the end of the Soviet experiment in 1989, Russia and its satellite states have struggled mightily to re - integrate into the world system... and tales of the rampant ravages of organized crime there have been profligate. But they couldn ' t both have their grand statist experiment and grow up with the rest of the world, economically speaking. They chose the former. And they stayed walled - away because they knew their system couldn ' t compete with freedom and prosperity, American style. Neither militarily, nor economically.

Today, those of us who saw how one - sided the competition was all those years ago tend to shake our heads in awe that there are so many ( though still relatively few ) who think we should repeat the experiment here in America. When we see " Occupiers " hold up signs that say " Death to Capitalism, " it ' s nearly unbelievable. But when we realize the motivations of the puppet - masters behind these " movements, " things make more sense. There will always be those who want to control everybody else... and they have new hope in a nation which seems to have forgotten the lessons of the Cold War and our long struggle against " the aggressive impulses of an evil empire " ( again, Reagan ).

As I ' ve said before, the only way you wrest freedom and prosperity from Americans is to get them to willingly hand it over. It takes generations to overrun the influential institutions, to let the Soviet example fade into the darker corners of history ' s ash - heap, and to grow the government and its debt to the point that Americans who otherwise would be excited to start a business would buy the victim - mentality notion that things could and should be more " fair " - and that only a big, powerful government can equitably redistribute society ' s resources to make it so.

That ' s called progressivism.

These days, the progressives need to get you thinking about an end to national sovereignty, especially in America. As long as there is a free - market engine of strength and prosperity in the world, with a limited government " guaranteed " by its Constitution, the progressives won ' t have the control they seek. You hear a lot about " one - world government " from progressives, and their Occupying puppets. That ' s because, this time, the statists don ' t want something better on the other side of a wall. They don ' t want to suffer by comparison. Twenty years from now, when you ' re desperate to escape " Utopia " and get to some place where you ' re free to work hard for an " unfair " advantage, they don ' t want you to have any place to which you could so defect.

Call it what you will... progressivism isn ' t progress.
