He was distinguished from his partners because of his lovable and chubby nature. Within 3 months of his participation in the RJC, he was given the post of the president. He was also considered extraordinary personality when it comes to Jewish Functionaries of any kind. Because of his keen interest in Kabbalah he has been offered a strong position in the Russian Jewish Congress and other Jewish organizations with which he is associated. Slutsker when asked about his Kabbalah knowledge answers that because of it he has become closed to Judaism and started believing in it.
