Unfortunately, like a fish is unaware of the water hes within, many times a child can miss the significance of language. Through language, we can offer praise to God, encourage the heart of a friend, or speak the life - giving words of the Gospel. Although the process of learning phonics, forming letters, spelling, and developing a vocabulary may seem painstaking to a young child, it will open the door to a deeper relationship with God and others. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ( Romans 10: 17 ).

History: History is much more than lost, forgotten kingdoms and people who have died years ago. History taught from a Christian worldview curriculum shows Gods mighty omniscience in controlling the rise and fall of individuals, nations, and countries everywhere. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God ( Romans 13: 1b ). In addition, with a Bible - based history curriculum presenting the entire story for all of history, a child can see Gods sovereign hand working in the affairs of mankind from creation to the prophesied end of the world. By studying the good and bad choices made by others in similar situations, we can see Gods response and gain wisdom, discernment, and knowledge. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope ( Romans 15: 4 ).

Although the world would have us believe the Bible is only relevant to religion or a Bible study class, Christian parents can show their children that every subject in school reflects God. What is your child learning? If his textbooks and schoolwork only deal with academics and fail to present the importance of faith in God, its time for some rethinking. Because the Bible tells us to nurture a childs spiritual growth and do all to the glory of God ( 1 Corinthians 10: 31b ), its time parents developed a biblical barometer in a child by teaching every subject with a Christian worldview curriculum.

Hi, I ' m Steven Sadleir, and I wish to proceeds a minute to gibber you about the Dead Sea Scrolls which are maybe the greatest archaeological treasure trove of our age. These are actual biblical writings, the Old Testament. They date to the numero uno and second century B. Most of the communal traits of the Essene, we see reflected on the first Christians as well. So we know that some of the first followers of Christ were Essene.

We know the Essene were Kabbalahists ( studied the Kabbalah ) because their teacher was Rabbi Meachem, who Josephus the historian tells us was the leader of the Essene at this time. So much information is coming together to paint a picture of what the first followers of Christ believed and we ' re taught by Christ.

So I encourage you to look at the Dead Sea Scrolls for yourself. You can read my book of course, Christ Enlightened: The Lost Teachings of Jesus Unveiled and we go in and I give you the gist of these teachings and put pieces of the puzzles together.
